Some recent feedback from patients and colleagues

I contacted Nikki at South HamsPhysio when my Mum came out of hospital to recover with us at home. We were struggling to help her progress. Nikki came to see her out of hours with very little notice , she was incredibly patient and thorough (Mum can be stubborn!). With the help and advice provided, there was an almost overnight improvement in progress and confidence. Nikki instilled that knowledge and confidence in her clients though her calm, professional assessment and educational skills – we cannot recommend her highly enough. “

On Sunday 19th June 2011, Father’s day, I was involved in a helicopter crash. I was airlifted by the Somerset Air Ambulance and taken to Frenchay Hospital, Bristol.

After spending nearly five months in three different hospitals having suffered many serious injuries I was allowed home using a walking frame with wheels to get around. I made contact with Nikki and she has made a huge difference to the quality of my life. Three months later and I was walking around my house indoors without a stick and now I only use a stick to help me walk outside and also give me confidence.

I am 57 and from the age of 44 I started running and cycling. I ran a few marathons, dozens of half marathons and I have spent many hours cycling.

Nikki’s experience, guidance and expertise have been invaluable and I cannot recommend her enough . She has certainly helped me from becoming depressed and I am looking forward to being able to be back on my bike for a couple of hours every day in a few weeks time.

Nikki has a unique personality and has never avoided any of my questions however hard they are. I feel happy to do the exercise programme that she sets out for me because she communicates well in giving the reasons why the type of exercise is relevant and important to me.

My wife has Multiple Sclerosis and Nikki is also helping her.

We both feel lucky to have found Nikki as she has made such a huge difference to the quality of our lives. Our lives have been transformed.”

I first worked alongside Nikki in 2002 in a private rehabilitation unit for adults with acquired brain injury. I have also referred clients to her for community physio in my role as a brain injury case manager. She has specialist knowledge and expertise, works effectively and efficiently, communicates well with clients, professional and support staff, and is a lovely person to work with. I have no hesitation in recommending her to treat individuals with neurological conditions. “
